At First Baptist Church, Wylie we believe every follower of Christ has been directed to GO!   With this in mind, it is the desire of the mission¹s team to provide various opportunities for members of all ages to get their hands dirty for Christ. 


Whether you travel to Ecuador to wash the feet of children, drive the Polar Express through neighborhoods passing out free ice cream, or paint the house of a widow in need, we have a place for YOU!


In Acts 1:8, Jesus shares, ³You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witness in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.² 


Our vision for missions and evangelism is three-fold.  We are involved in Community, Home Land, and World Missions.  In order to fulfill the vision that God has placed before us, we need people that are willing to use their God given gifts and abilities to reach the lost with the love of Christ.
