First Faith Steps… The Preschool Ministry at First Baptist Wylie is designed to meet the needs of children ages birth through kindergarten. This ministry is a cooperative effort between the home and the church as parents and staff team up to teach preschoolers about Jesus. A child’s preschool years are vital to their first faith steps. It is an honor to partner with parents as they build the foundation that will ultimately lead their children to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  We are privileged to be sharing this special time with your family and preschoolers.

The Praise Pals, our preschool praise and worship team, are providing added opportunities for Babies through Kindergarten classes to participate in praise and worship each Sunday!

Cradle Choir is an interactive nursery curriculum. Babies will grasp the truth of God's Word through music and props. With First Steps in Worship, the goal is to provide quality help as we fulfill this calling. Interactive props, music and repetition bring the worship experience within reach of even the youngest babies, toddlers and 2s.

Wiggle Into Worship is an interactive curriculum designed for Preschoolers ages 3 and 4. Songs and props are used to teach Biblical principals in a fun, unique way. Children are drawn to "circle time" because each week they know this is an exciting part of their morning. The repetition and fun is a creative way to allow children to grasp important Biblical concepts.

Pass It On Praise is an interactive curriculum designed for Pre-K and Kindergarten. A colorful ball is used to teach Biblical principals using songs and verses in a fun, unique way. Children will be drawn to "circle time" because each week they will know what to expect from the previous week. Again, the repetition and fun is a creative way to allow children to grasp important Biblical concepts.

Active Ark Time provides movement opportunities for our 2s - Kindergartners each week.

Preschoolers are little bundles of energy. They can be unstoppable — running, spinning, leaping and climbing at every opportunity. Their desire to move, move, move makes this a great time to take advantage of an activity rotation!  Our Active Ark Time provides a creative outlet for this energy. Each class, 2s - Kindergarten participate in activity time planned especially for them.
Active play helps kids to:

· Stay healthy. 

· Sleep better and are more likely to keep a healthy weight. 

· Learn how to use their muscles.

· Feel good about themselves and what they can do. 

· Get along with others.

· Learn about God’s world.

You don’t want your little ones to miss this! Make sure your preschoolers enjoy the entire morning planned just for them as we begin their life long journey with Jesus! Again, don’t be late… .
